Ups & Downs

So there has been many ups and down since the last time i wrote ,  we have a lot more 'ups" then "downs" which is good :)

Here is a list of the "Ups" in our little household...
- The countdown to America begins..(14 weeks)
- One of my best friends Hannah is back from living in Spain for ..way too long!
- We bought a gorgeous new photo frame ( i'm addicted to buying photo frames at the mo)
- A month until we move to our lovely new house!
- Me and Sam have now got unlimited cinema cards!( very sad i know)
- My Orchid is alive again!!
- Sam bought me a early christmas present ...(Barbour Coat)
- I have a lot of photo sessions booked!!
- We should be getting our new passports back soon!!
- Our Niece Ava had a sleep at ours
- Sam gets to play football on a thursday more now
-I cooked our first proper roast chicken dinner! i have to show you pictures...

As you can tell there are not great big "ups" but there little things that are making us happy at the moment


So here a couple of the "downs"


- One of our fishes Sam Jr decided to go to fish heaven! 
- I had a poorly husband , he had shingles ! 
- The brand new glass jug broke into pieces !
- The Kitchen light has started flickering 
- The £40 pans were suppose to be none stick ....but clearly don't do as they say on the label!!


So the "downs" aren't really that major , i guess we don't really have much to grumble about at the moment!


So i need to tell you ( grumble) about My BRAND new glass jug!!..


I never intended buying a Jug from sainsburys whilst doing a bit of food shopping but it happened to be calling my name from the reduced sale section..So i thought why not? £5 for a pretty nice looking , nice sized jug.. we bought it and sainsbury's customer services even wrapped it in brown paper to "protect" it on the journey home. So we got home....unwrapped the paper and this is what i found.........

So as you can imagine i was not a happy bunny!! It was a bargain £5!! We carried it really carefully.. and didn't hear it smash or anything sooo strange!!
But... a week later we happened to be in Sainsbury's again... i couldn't resist going to see if they had any left on the reduced section..i looked and there it was just sat there all alone.. the last jug!!! How lucky! So yes we bought it and now we have it in one piece and i'm protecting it with my life!! as we have a shortage of jugs! Here is what the jug looks like when its not broken....

So thats a little insight from one of the "downs"

One of my favourite "ups" on the list is "Ava coming to visit", me and our niece Ava have a special little connection she's adorable , she rants on to me like she is a old woman , She is 3yrs old soon to be 4! She came to sheffield for a sleepover and she had such a busy day but she was a star, She got on the train from leeds to sheffield ( 45 mins) didn't moan once...got on a tram which she thought was the most oddest experience ever , she said"Abi its like a train on the road, its right next to the cars, trams are daft".She is hilarious! Then she was my assistant at a family photo shoot (1hour 30min).We then got on another tram to Meadowhall were she said the cutest thing ever
Ava.."Abi"
Me..."yes"
Ava ...."i wish my mum was here"
Me ..." why's that Ava"
Ava..." because she would love it, sheffield has loads of stuff to do"
she is sooo cute ! Ava then chose  some dvds and then we had a pizza hut tea! Then we got a tram into town and then a tram from town home then she walked from the tram stop to our house!! She was worn out! It was such a nice little girlie weekend!! Here are some pictures..
